Hi, I'm Jamie.

When I was a kid, I remember looking at tickers printed in the back of the newspaper and thinking, "I can do that." I was 8 years old and was immediately attracted to it. A few months later, a teacher of mine decided to have the class pick tickers and see how everyone did. It was fun, and it felt like being in a candy store, selecting what was relevant. My pick was Snapple, which had just come on the market, and I knew it was one to watch. I shared this with my dad, and although he hesitated for a year, he eventually got in and made a nice return.

The biggest hit I got many years later was Netflix. It was at $15 a share. We all know how well that performed and continues to do so to this day.

After Netflix, I decided to start buying trades on my own. This also evolved handsomely with hits on NVDA, AMD, and SHOP before they were market makers and well before they were the earning heroes they are today.

Here are some picks that I had some fun returns / experiences with:

  • AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) This occurred early before the processor war and had a nudge to look closer into it. My return was an easy win.
Return: Over 300% return within 1 year.
  • NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) Similar story to AMD. I got a hit to go in and was seeking a shorter term return on it.
Return: Over 300% return within 8 months.
  • SHOP (Shopify Inc.) This one was a fun long term play. I was very familiar with them based on my marketing background and knew it would be a hit. Technicals looks great too.
Return: Over 1,300% return within 3+ years.
  • ZOOM (Zoom Video Communications, Inc.) Call it good fortune. I remember listening to their earnings call and they had fantastic revenues and EPS. All of the banks pulled them out of their fund. I went in and within that year COVID hit. Sold at the very peak based on technicals and instinct.
Return: Over 700% return within 1.5 years.
  • SPX Options I did this one with friends as my instinct continued to sharpen. It also opened me up into the fantastic world of options and day of options in the SPX. One of the most volatile trading environments. Over the course of few months I was able call out day of movements. What a feeling!
Return: Successfully predicted 47 out of 50 call/put options.

This continued to evolve into other hits outside of the stock market. I invested in BTC and ETH when BTC was just over $1K and ETH was over $100. It eventually got to the point where my financial advisor started asking me for stock ideas.

The results that I have produced over the years are due to experience and instinct. It is the experience of apply technical analysis, indicators, knowing when a stock is oversold or undervalued and many more elements on top of that. Now that there is no need to 'think' about the fundamentals I am able to focus on the instinct behind a stock. This is the intersection where I am able to identify opportunities.

This is what Iโ€™m creating here: the good stuff without the noise. I conduct analysis throughout the week and deliver into a simple package for you to choose what you would like to do with it.

On top of all the good stuff, Iโ€™m getting more hits that come in. The nudge that says follow this one, buy this one, or sell this one. It's a sense that this is worth paying attention to. You may call it intuition, a knowing, an instinct, and I am now sharing this with others to have fun with. To me, it is really me just enjoying myself doing something I love, and that joy continues to nudge me in the right direction.

If you enjoy reading up on stocks, this could be for you. If you have no interest in stocks and have a financial planner do it for you, this could be something you send to your financial planner. If you really donโ€™t like stocks and have hesitation, this could also be for you. You may find in our free previews that some tickers start giving you a nudge.

Enjoy!

Jamie
